About 1898 House Inn
Located in the heart of historic downtown Slater, the 1898 House Inn offers exquisite premier lodging accommodations in a private and intimate “bed and breakfast” setting. Each guest room features quality amenities including private baths with luxurious walk-in showers, queen beds, and in-room WI-FI. Guest rooms are appointed with top-of-the-line furnishings, bedding, and décor. In addition to in-room televisions, the common area living room serves as a gathering space with a galley kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and accessories. A spacious front porch and adjoining lawn offers a peaceful and private setting just steps away from dining, shopping, and parks.
The Inn provides breakfast at one of Slater’s downtown locally owned cafes. In-house laundry is provided. In addition to nightly rates, extended stay bookings are available.
In addition to the guest rooms, the Inn is able to provide event space across the street in the form of a meeting/reception/banquet room and the Slater Community Chapel. Each room features one queen bed. The configuration of rooms allows for rooms to be joined (hotel style) to accommodate families or groups.

Guest Room 1 is located adjacent to the common area Living Room and features a queen bed, walk-in shower, and cable television.
Guest Room 2
Guest Room 2 is located adjacent to the common area Living Room and features a queen bed, walk-in shower, and WI-FI television. It has an optional secured access double connecting doors to Guest Room 3 for family bookings. It is the most spacious room in the Inn.
Guest Room 3
Guest Room 3 is located adjacent to the rear entry foyer and is adjacent to Guest Room 4. The adjacent foyer is the location of a washer and dryer for guest use and a small refrigerator. The room features a queen bed, walk-in shower, and WI-FI television.
Guest Room 4
Guest Room 4 is located adjacent to the rear entry foyer and is adjacent to Guest Room 3. The adjacent foyer is the location of a washer and dryer for guest use and a small refrigerator. The room features a queen bed, walk-in shower, and WI-FI television. This is the smallest room at Inn.
